HOW TO HOST A SCREENING OR USE THE FILM IN TRAINING

We invite you to organize with our film team a screening (virtual or in person) for your secular or spiritual community, educational or other institution with the purpose of:

  • Creating insight about historic injury, stigma, or trauma in sexuality, e.g., understanding body shaming, sexual trauma, and historic religious or cultural attitudes that promote a splitting of “the body” as bad and “the spirit” as good.

  • Challenging this status quo by promoting healing, positive sexuality, and a greater sense of wholeness in our contemporary cultures, whether in secular or faith communities, colleges, seminaries, and in the public media.

Here are some exciting and creative screening options with which our film team can assist you:

1.     “Keynote Screening” for your live or hybrid Conference, also featuring our Producers and/ or people who appear in the film

You can purchase and license the film for your conference and we’re happy to be available online or in person, when possible, for these presentations and Q and A’s.

2.     “Community Partnerships” or “Fundraising Screening Events” for your organization

We can assist you in raising significant funds for your organization through a special screening event that optimizes ticket sales, donations, and/or event sponsorships. There are several exciting strategies or models which we will be glad to share.

3.      “Staff Development Workshops AND Uses in Training Curricula for Agencies, Universities, Seminaries

We can design with you a significant training experience for your staff. Clinical social workers and / or a psychologist from our film team are able to lead these workshops, using the film as a springboard for creating greater insight, understanding, and practice strategies for your staff. Our team can also guide you in the preparation of continuing education material, if desired.

As a service agency or educational instituion, you may wish to use the entire film or excerpts from it in your regular training of staff or students. We offer a discount of 20% for the purchase of multiple copies of thumb drives for staff training.

Talk with us for suggestions of ways in which your organization can license “short takes” from the film to share with staff and/or clients regularly at your regional offices.

4.     “Standard Screenings”

Your group may wish to simply purchase and license the film for single or recurring private or public screenings. Contact us for details.

Screening and licensing fees are flexible and are based on the type of screening or curriculum development, as described above that you will be holding.  We welcome your inquiries by contacting:  Vic Compher at 267-266-0842 or by email at viccompher@comcast.net .
